Last week, Paolo and Luca headed back to the motherland 🇮🇹
We spent a few unforgettable days in Emilia-Romagna, diving deep into the world of Italian food craftsmanship — and catching up with family, friends, and the incredible people behind some of the finest products in the country 🙌
Hosted like kings by our good friend and supplier Giuseppe from @salvo1968ltd we visited two exceptional producers that left a lasting impression
1 👉 Ermes Cured Meats, where every slice is steeped in tradition, passion, and time-honoured techniques. We’ve never seen something like this before - the scale of the factory is INSANE 😫
2 👉 Molino Dallagiovanna, a legendary 4th generation family-run mill producing over 3,000 tons of flour every day — watching their process was nothing short of inspiring 🔥
We’re in awe of the precision, pride and history behind both producers — and feel lucky to have had this glimpse behind the scenes
Full bellies, full hearts, and full of ideas for what’s next at Monte Forte 🇮🇹🔥

Four years ago today, we opened the doors to Monte Forte Horsham… and we also welcomed Tyler to the team 🍕❤️ top left shows him now and bottom right shows him working on his first day, which was a hell of a party to celebrate the launch 🚀
He’s just had his 4-year appraisal, and it reminded us how much of a constant he’s been through all the changes. From day one to now, Tyler’s been there — helping us grow, improve, and looking after the restaurant 🔥
2025 has been a big year for Horsham already, and the whole team are smashing it 😍 Each year we get sharper, better, stronger — and it’s thanks to people like Tyler who bring passion to his role 😇
Oh, and did we mention? Tyler juggles this with his football coaching too ⚽️ That’s what we love about hospitality — it can flex to your life. No 60, 80, 100 hour weeks here, just balance, great pizza, and a brilliant team 🙌

On Monday, we brought our management team together to reflect on where we are and where we’re going. These sessions matter – a chance to be honest, get aligned, and stay focused on what’s important ❤️
We welcomed new faces, including Loredana, now leading the charge as Restaurant Manager at our newest site in Farnham. And we celebrated one of our most dedicated team members, Adam – now Area Manager – who marks 4 years with us this Saturday 🤩
People are at the core of what we do. Seeing them grow – as individuals and as leaders – is what drives us every day 😇
We also made every dish (mainly pizza) on our menu from scratch – for updated training, fresh new photos, and to make sure we’re all crystal clear on what excellence looks like. Every plate was spot on, thanks to the leadership and speed of our chef team, Leo and Davide 🔥
